METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY PUBLICATIONS
The Meteorological Society of New Zealand produces two publications, a Quarterly Newsletter and a scientific journal titled "Weather and Climate".
The Quarterly Newsletter provides information about recent weather events with climatological summaries together with general information about the Society's business and activities and members' news and views."Weather and Climate" is a professional journal providing members access to the latest peer reviewed thinking in the profession of meteorology. It is accepted internationally as the journal that gives recognition of the value of meteorological and climatological work done in New Zealand. It contains papers of interest to both professional and general readers. It also includes book reviews and explanations of the unusual. Members are invited to send in their own descriptions or photos.
